Dr. Hiten Negandhi
Dr. Hiten Negandhi graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology & Physiology.
He then began a Masters in Neuroscience, after which he then went on to pursue a career in optometry and graduated on the Dean’s Honour List from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, in April 2000.
Dr. Negandhi has many areas of interest in optometry including pediatric optometry, laser vision consultation and co-management, myopia management, contact lenses, and computer related vision syndromes.
Dr. Negandhi has visited many primary schools and high schools to educate students on the profession of optometry and the importance of routine ocular examinations, and has volunteered his time to the Giving the Gift of Sight Program where he visits schools in different areas to perform eye exams, and provide glasses, to underprivileged children.
Dr. Negandhi has been a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the American Optometric Association.
